Chocolate Covered Katie's Hug a Fat Month!

What a great way to help other food blogger's get recognition for their hard work and make people aware that Fat is beneficial to your health. Eating a healthy fat will help your body become healthier, stronger, fitter and leaner. I love all healthy fats....avocados, almond butter, cashew butter, coconut oil, olive oil, all nuts and grass-fed butter. My favorite Chocolate Covered Katie recipe is her chocolate covered peanut butter bars. My kids LOVE them. They are sinfully delicious!

77% of the calories in Avocado are from fat. Avocados are packed with heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids. They are considered a super food. Avocados are a good source of B Vitamins which help you fight off disease and infection. They also give you vitamins C and E, plus natural plant chemicals that may help prevent Cancer. I enjoy eating avocado with my eggs in the morning, diced up in a salad, with chicken and salsa. It is your personal preference.
